What is PPF or Paint Protection Film?
XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS™ is a patented, high performance, clear-coated aliphatic polyurethane film designed to protect automotive paint, and other surfaces, from harmful effects of stone chips and abrasion. It’s a very low surface energy film designed to resist staining so bird droppings, air pollution and road grime will never leave the film stained or yellow unlike lower quality alternatives.
Self-healing properties.
The clear coat employs special elastomeric polymers that allow scratches in the surface to “heal” over time through heat from Sunlight, Engine heat or simply hot water. This self-healing eliminates the need for frequent polishing to help maintain a just installed appearance.
Pre-cut templates.
XPEL’s D.A.P software gives us access to over 90,000 PPF templates for almost every make and model, the largest design repository available. All patterns are crafted by XPEL with the best possible fitment & functionality in mind. We only ever use these pre-cut templates to eliminate the need for cutting film on the vehicle, allowing for a safer install.
10 year warranty.
XPEL PPF carries a 10 year warranty against, yellowing, cracking, peeling, staining, and hazing, and reimburses both film and labour in the unlikely event of any failure. This warranty is also transferable between owners, with an original Proof of Purchase.
